VideoTaped Deposition

Videotaped depositions solve many problems including:

*Inability of the witness to physically be present at trial, due to illness, hospitalization or other reasons. 
*Taking testimony of remote witnesses. 
*Cost of getting the witness to trial. 
*Pre-screening of the witness's suitability and credibility. 
*Cost of expert witness's time spent traveling to trial location. 
*Replay of witness's contradictory testimony during trial. 
Videotape is the best method to effectively present the visual and verbal communication cues of the witness. It is the best alternative to a live appearance of an unavailable key witness. 
We record depositions with proper lighting and backgrounds. Microphones are placed on the deponent, deposing attorney(s), and opposing attorney(s).
Videotaped depositions can be synchronized with the court reporter's written transcript. This provides a very useful tool for reviewing the deposition and trial presentation.

Procedure:

The videographer will arrive at a location of your deposition 30 minutes prior to the deposition to setup equipment. This will include all equipment neccesary to capture the deponant and audio record all individuals in the room. The videographer will arrange layout of room to optimize lighting, noise and positioning of reporters, witness and attornerys. All deposition video is captured on Digital Video Tapes (DV).
