What is DVD-Video?

DVD- Video is a consumer video format used to store digital video on (DVD-ROM) discs, and is currently the dominant form of consumer video formats in the United States, Europe, and Australia. Discs using the DVD-Video specification require a DVD drive and an Mpeg-2 decoder (e.g. a DVD player, or a DVD computer drive with a software DVD player).

Encoding is the process of converting deposition video tapes to a digital format stored on a CD or DVD. You get quality video that runs on your computer, DVD player, and is easily duplicated

Applications

DVD-Video should not be ordered if you plan on importing this video into trial software. If you plan on importing deposition video into a trial software program use the Mpeg-1 format.
